>> What happens to your mind after your body dies?

What is the ‘mind’ and does it require a body to exist?

If you had no mind you would not be able to communicate here.

The body is a vehicle , with sensory inputs that for distinct baskets of sensory perceptions. All this has been demonstrated for thousands of years, but Western civilization just ignores it.Soon that will not be possible.

The basic process of how things work is demonstrated in these several texts, from the straight forward to the complex:

1) http://www.mindfire.ca/Perceiving%20Ordinary%20Magic/Vastness%20in%20the%20Minute%20Particulars.htm

2)http://www.placeofdreams.org/slogans/contents.php?section=Point%203%20:%20Transformation%20of%20Bad%20Circumstances&subsection=14

3) http://www.holybooks.com/wp-content/uploads/The-Tibetan-Book-of-the-Dead.pdf

or you can google “ ayatanas”, “ Skandas” as well as “klesha,” and “svabhavikakaya.”

Its a delightful body of knowledge which absolutely informs about the death process, without threatening anyones specific religious beliefs or views. The process of death is like gravity, its a universal principle that applies to every sentient being, we all begin to die as soon as we are born. In fact we live in a stew of continuous birth, life and death. It never stops.

And this process has been sorted out thousands of years before scientists have “proven” that consciousness moves to another universe at death.

As a matter of fact, a road map exists on how to get to that other universe or to “another” universe, and how to make sure it is a suitable one, and how to prepare oneself for the journey.

Its pretty straight forward, although seemingly complex, depending on what you read and who you speak with. Generally Shambhala based knowledge is very easily understood by Westerners. But there are reems of other sources one can access on the topic.
