I hope not. I’m very concerned about this meeting. I don’t think Pope Francis really would support Obama, but sometimes it doesn’t appear to me that the Pope thinks about the effect of his words before he opens his mouth. In addition, he seems to have no fondness for the US and I think he may try to show this to gain street creds. Of course, Obama hates the US too, so they may agree in this subject.

Also, the Pope’s only American advisors now are Cardinal O’Malley, who is sort of a mixed bag, and Cardinal Wuerl, who would probably be more eager to kiss the hand of Obama or any Dem than that of the Pope himself.

Why fear the Admin Mod? Fear? What in my comment led you to that notion? My original post was from Catholic Herald and pulled because it conflicted with ... "Updated FR Excerpt and Link Only or Deny Posting List due to Copyright Complaints." Really?!! I am familiar with those posting regulations and Catholic Herald is not listed. I freepmailed the Admin Mod for more specifics but ... not surprisingly ... no response.

10 Things Obama Might Say to Pope Francis

President Barack Obama will meet with Pope Francis for the first time on March 27 at the Vatican, the White House announced Tuesday. Here's some thoughts on what Obama might say to the pope.

1) Promise, "If you like your Church you can keep your Church."

2) Say thoughtfully, "If I had a son, I think he'd be Pope."

3) Hand Pope Francis a DVD of his speech at Notre Dame and say "you're welcome."

11)   I'll reopen that American embassy in the Vatican if you really change the rules of the Catholic Church (so that my lying lackeys in the American mainstream media do not have to just pretend that you changed these rules), and officially declare that:

A.   Abortion is fine.

B.   Homosexual behavior/activities/marriage are all fine.

C.   All athiests and communists (like myself, Biden, Sebelius, Pelosi, Cuomo, etc.) can all get into heaven without changing our evil ways, or doing anything at all.

D.   You will completely remove or cover up all the crucifixes and statues of Jesus and Mary in America, and you will replace all of them with my own personal bobblehead doll likeness.

E.   Dolan will be made the next Pope.

F.   Rev. Jeremiah Wright will be made the next "Preacher to the Papal Household".

G.   You will make all those Catholic posters at "Free Republic" stop posting completely.
