So when Democratics and Homosexuals eviscerate marriage, they do so at the behest of whom? So Pelosi, Shumer, Shiver, and the rest of the Democratic cabal haven't been excommunicated for what reason?
For "charity", or so the claim goes; we are all sinners in need of the Church, it is said. Also, they have excommunicated themselves by their own choices.
This is all true, however sometimes charity is best given by saying "no", in this instance publicly, to wake the sinner from his selfish slumber. Not to mention the scandal it foments to allow open rebellion to Church teaching.
Of course we wouldn't want public excommunications handed out like candy either;it's a fine line to walk.
It's ultimately the local bishop's decision so we need to pray for them all the more.
