You may learn something.

What would I learn??? If there was no bible available and all I had was your catechism, and God called me to him, I'd possibly become a Catholic...

I do think that would be impossible tho since why would God call me to a false religion???

I've read enough of your catechism to know that it is no more than a commentary on the scriptures...And a very poor one, at that...There are tons of bible commentaries out there...I've read a few and the ones I have read are closer to what the scriptures say than your Catholic commentary...

I have a bible...Why would anyone who wants to be a Christian not want to read the bible, the written words of God instead of or along side a catechism/commentary to see if the commentary matched the bible???

There are only two things that stand between me and God...Those are Jesus Christ and his written words...

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end, Amen.

Let me give you a quick example here...

The number three is often found both in nature and in religion.
There are three persons in the Holy Family ; three parts in the sacra- ments (intention, matter, and form) ;
Our Lord hung for three hours on the cross,
and remained three days in the grave.

That last statement is not accurate and misleading...Jesus even told the good thief that he would be with Jesus on that day...

Act_2:27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Act_2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

1Pe 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1Pe 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

Eph 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
Eph 4:9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? Eph 4:10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

He taught on earth for three years, and has the triple office of Prophet, Priest, and King.

Jesus did not exercise the office of King since that kingdom did not show up at that time...It was available but was rejected...When Jesus does show up as the King in his Kingdom, no one on Earth will miss it...

Joh 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Like Jesus said, if he was the king, his servants would have protected him and he wouldn't have been crucified...

Joh 6:15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Jesus is NOT that king yet...

Dan 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

In this prophecy, the kingdom has not yet been set up...There is no king yet...

Dan 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

As with this...The king and his kingdom are not yet here...

So like I said, the material put out by you religion is no more than a commentary but a very poor one...If you want the rest of the story, you have to go to the scriptures...
