Megyn is for homosexual marriage. That gives us insight into her answer to Parade magazine the other day — what do you do on Sunday? (after working all week on her successful television show).

Her answer was walking on the park with her kids (something like that) and watching television with her husband. No mention of church.

If the GOP gets a young conservative hispanic on the ticket in 2016 they will win the hispanic vote and with it the majority of Catholic voters. Will you still call Catholics a “reliable vote for queer “marriage”, abortion, ect”. Just curious. It’s going to happen. Get ready. Romney basically got half the Catholic vote in 2012. And he’s a morman!

Well, the Catholic denomination is making him a saint, and the Mormon religion is making him a God, he is being kept busy for sure.

Obama won the Catholic vote in 2012, and 2008, the Catholic Hispanic vote will not go republican in 2016, and if one just figures the odds of voting history, there is no reason to think the republicans will win the Catholic vote in 2016.

If Rubio had been on the ticket with Romney (and he should have been), Romney would have won the overall Catholic vote. If Hillary Clinton is the democrat nominee, I predict this person will be the VP nominee for the Republicans, with probably Ted Cruz heading the ticket.

“A Bill Clinton like Mormon, would not be able to answer honestly in front of an audience of Catholics, and would answer with “it depends on what the meaning of God is”.

***

It is not my meaning of God in question here, it is you who is hemming and hawing over the question , ansel12

It is a simple question I asked you

“So what do you think becoming a God means to you ansel12”?

I just want a republican (not named Christie) to win. If Hillary Clinton is elected president I might move to Thailand.

Actually the question hasn’t changed.

So John Paul II is Mormon now, that’s interesting.
Something that you can’t deny.
That is quite a religion you have there, will John Paul II become a God now?
78 posted on 1/27/2014 9:40:22 AM by ansel12

By any definition of God, does Pope John II have a chance of becoming a God now?

Just as much as you do Ansel12

BTW Ansel12 it is not By any definition of God only Jesus defines what it is.

Romans 8 (Jesus tells us, those who are worthy and receive the spirit of adoption, beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;)

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

You still haven’t answer me in your understanding of what you think it is...

So your religion baptized John Paul II, and after all your evasions and avoiding, we can conclude that Joseph Smith’s religion indeed does think he may become a God, and rule over his own planet as one of the infinite number Mormon Gods.

The Mormons baptized Pope John Paul II, why?

“”For those who have died without the opportunity to hear, understand, and accept the full gospel of Jesus Christ, proxy baptism offers the opportunity of eternal life with God. Baptisms for the dead are an indication of God’s love for all His children.””

I don’t any thing about John Paul II did he or didn’t he accept or even if he was baptized it is you making all the claims.

The Mormons baptized Pope John Paul II, why?

Again it is you who is saying this, there have been some who for whatever reason this is all speculation, some summit names for whatever reason, or who might even have been Catholic, or even someone who is leaving the Church and did this to create a havoc, and it may not even been done, one thing I do know we are living in the time the Lord made it known to hasten the work.

Many will be on the outside looking in because they thought it was something to mock and jeer at how sad....

You are talking to someone who is serious about being sincere knowing, that it is not always mutal.

I tell you I don’t know it is because I don’t and have no need to know. I do not appreciate when one tries to put words into my mouth or imply that I either am not being forthright, or than it has to be the Church keeping their members in the dark, that kind of behavior towards one who is trying to be helpful that is not the demeanor of a child of God.

I was under the impression that you knew a lot about Mormonism, but not having a Temple Recommend you don’t really know what goes on in the Mormon Temples I suppose, since it is to be kept secret from the Mormons who aren’t holy enough to carry temple ID.

I guess that explains why you haven’t been able to clear up the simple question about the Mormons and John Paul II.

The temple activities are restricted from your knowledge, it is where the elite Mormons participate fully, Harry Reid, Glenn beck, Mitt Romney for instance.

Now that is funny LOL...

I knew you were conversing with the “moo” it is his questions he has been trying to get me to answer that question for year which is none of his darn business, I say think what you want, and yes one can talk about a lot of things in temple accept for a few things.

But I don’t discuss things like this with irreverent people.

Still what dose this have to do with John Paul II nothing!

It means that you don’t the secrets that the more devout Mormons know, the activities of the temple are kept from you, some do leak out though.

You don’t know that Pope John Paul II was baptized 4 times in 2006.

Your religion also baptized Pope Pius XII three times and he is now married to a Mrs Eugenio Pacelli.

Saint Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Jesuit order of priests was also married to a woman by your church.

**(Reuters) - Pope Benedict was baptized at birth and will most likely be baptized again one year after his death, not by his Roman Catholic Church but by a Mormon he never met.
(snip)
Pope John Paul II was baptized not once but four times in April 2006, in line with Mormon practice of waiting a year before starting these rites. He died on April 2, 2005.

His name was purged from the online IGI, so a normal search will not find them. But his four now-anonymous files are still in the database and three still show his parents’ names.

Pope Pius XII was baptized three times and also “sealed” in eternal marriage to a fictional Mrs Eugenio Pacelli. Saint Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Jesuit order of priests, was also “sealed” to a bogus wife. Catholic clergy do not marry.

Names are purged from the public IGI after being found and publicized. Pope John Paul I and Pope Paul VI were both baptized and were listed on the online IGI in December but removed after Reuters asked about them, Farah confirmed.

But earlier popes, going back at least to the Crusader Pope Urban II (1088-1099), are mostly still there. “They remove any names that could potentially cause criticism,” Radkey said.**

You could have said this was the anti Radkey stuff earlier

this is old news and was discussed here on FR years ago before we got new software, it was harder to catch people doing famous or Celebrity type people.

Once the gift is given it is hard to take back what happens it the person on the other side accepted.

To you or Radkey it might seem like a big deal but it isn’t Jesus died vicarious for us way before we were even thought of or born, the work was done and it was gift from Jesus for us to accept or not accept same with baptism for the dead. Jesus did not know who would or wouldn’t accept.

There are many who never had the opportunity to hear the Lord’s official plan so those here have to do it for those who no longer have a body, but still it is a vicarious gift it is up to the individual to accept or not accept.

No harm No foul it is just a gift. Today it is easier to a void duplicate work.

again as I told you

We believe that the souls, or spirits, of those who have died without an opportunity to be baptized by an authorized servant of God will have that opportunity afforded to them. Because a person who has died can no longer be baptized, Latter-day Saints perform “baptisms for the dead” in Mormon temples. This is a ritual which involves a living person being baptized in place of someone who is dead. We also call this being baptized by proxy.

Latter-day Saints do not believe that when a dead person is baptized by proxy in an LDS temple that the person automatically becomes a member of the LDS Church. We believe that the individual, though their body is dead, is alive and eternal. That individual, temporarily residing in a place we call the “spirit world,” will have the opportunity to either accept or reject the baptism performed on their behalf.
