Maybe you should look up the meanings of “ sprinkling Catholics” or “A&P Catholics”. There’s a significant difference between practicing Catholics and cultural Catholics. Since most “Evangeical/ Fundamentalist animosity against Catholics is directed at the beliefs, rituals, rites, liturgies, and scriptual interpretations of the Church I don’t think your explanation holds water.
I just look at the data on how denominations vote, and the relationship with immigration and the left gaining total control of America.
Conservatives often have reason to find fault with church denominations, whose members are majority pro-abortion, pro-gay democrat voters, especially when the left have been, and are, importing them by the millions.
