I would submit something else is speaking through him. He and his comrades devote their lives to the communist cause and worked diligently to bring America to the point where we are. He then seems to be mocking us as “godless”. He’s done this before. While I agree that we are a nation that has lost faith in the God of our fathers, I reject his words as I would reject the words of a demon mocking someone who lost their faith.

We're going in different directions. I think that's the important point. Like in many aspects of life, economic, moral or cultural, the important thing is not so much where you are right now, it's the direction in which you're heading that's crucial.

Russia is not perfect but it's emerging from a most profound darkness and moving slowly towards the light. We, on the other hand, are heading in the opposite direction.

Putin is acting much more “Christian” than Obama ever has. Putin is actually promoting Christianity, Bibles in hotels (while Bibles are being removed in America), speaking out against homosexuals targeting children (while Obama promotes homosexuality being taught in kindergarten). I would take Putin over Obama in a heartbeat and take my chances.
