Some are clearly not clear! Lie 10 is really weird. I think he is alluding to the idea that people confuse perceived needs with “rights”. I added “perceived” because we just attended a Paul Tripp marriage conference (which I would highly recommend) and Tripp pointed out that a lot of problems come from people expanding their “needs” to include things they just “want” really bad.
In the political realm the progression would be my wants -> my needs -> my rights!
It would have been better if he clearly said, "This is the lie" and "This is the truth," but instead it's not always easy to tell from what he writes where one ends and the other begins.
