Will they do. As far as abortion is concerned they tout the official Morman line, murder is OK in cases of rape and incest, and go against the official position of the Morman Church when they openly support homosexual “marriage”, either directly, as in Mitt Romney’s case when he signed the bill that made homosexual “marriage” legal in Mass, and Harry Reid, for being a high profile member of a political party that promotes not only homosexual “marriage” but also abortion on demand. In Glenn Beck’s case he has publically started on his cable program that he favors “civil rights” for sodomite, which is a code word for marriage”. My suspicious is the reason they are not called out on their social positions is because of all the money they give to the Morman Church. Sounds like some Catholic politicians I know.
The problem with what you are saying is that the Mormon religion personally vets them every two years, and issues them ID as especially devout and true Mormons, far above normal Mormons who are not even allowed to worship in the same buildings with them, these are all three, men who are expected to become Gods themselves because of the strength and devotion of their Mormon faith.
These aren’t fake Mormons, they are among the best of the Mormon religion (by Mormon measurements).
We all know what you are saying, but they are all Mormons in great standing.
I’m not aware of any pro-abortion Catholic politicians who give much of THEIR OWN money to the Church. But they do give taxpayers’ money to the Church.
