Pope Francis has issued a message on the occasion of a symposium devoted to the 50th anniversary of Sacrosanctum Concilium, the Second Vatican Council’s Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy.
Stating that the anniversary evokes “sentiments of gratitude for the profound and widespread renewal of liturgical life made possible by the conciliar Magisterium, to the glory of God and the edification of the Church,” the Pope called for a renewal in the “commitment to receive and implement” the document’s teaching in a fuller manner.
Pope Francis said that the Constitution and the postconciliar Magisterium “have made us better understand the liturgy in light of divine revelation” and said that Christ is the protagonist of every liturgical celebration. Quoting the Constitution, Pope Francis said that “in the liturgy the whole public worship is performed by the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ, that is, by the Head and His members.”
Citing St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans, the Pontiff then spoke of the importance of “true spiritual worship” in which the faithful offer themselves as a living sacrifice. A liturgy “detached from spiritual worship,” he said, might seem “almost magical” and have “an empty aestheticism.” Citing Pope Benedict XVI, he added that the liturgy transforms Christians from within.
At the conclusion of his message, which was addressed to the prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, Pope Francis called for “a renewed willingness to move forward on the path indicated by the conciliar fathers, because much still remains to be done for a correct and complete assimilation of the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy.”

He appears to have hopped eagerly into the shoes of Pope JPII, with Benedict XVI relegated to an unfortunate digression (see “Peter, Lovest Thou Me?” by Abbe Daniel Le Roux).
“Who are you to judge”.
Not every observation is a “judgement”. If I had compared Francis to JPII in a positive light, I suspect there would be no issue among those desperate to approve of his every word and action.
Francis and JP2 are identical in doctrinal matters. It never changes because the Bible never changes. People change, the word of God never does. The truth revealed in sacred scripture is eternal. The Bible does not conform to what people want, it’s the other way around.

Without question, those last few exchanges between BlatherNaut, Piusv and NKP_Vet were priceless. But I’m saddened when I think of how many more, equally sincere Catholics, are as confused about Catholic dogma as those that come on this site. Like the progressive (low information) voters in the political world, they refuse to peak around their blinders and accept everything that’s fed to them as being gospel. It’s tragic.
Unfortunately, this ignorance of Catholic dogma is not at all limited to the laity, and that’s the problem. Perhaps if it were I’d feel more encouraged than I often do. The Modernist bishops (and popes), with the help of the secular media, have so spread this heretical doctrine over the years since Vatican II that recovery appears near impossible. Surely these clerics will have a great deal to answer for in the next life. To whom much is given, much is expected.
Once again, I think you're confusing doctrine with dogma. Church doctrine has been changed quite often since the Second Vatican Council.

It is not permitted that the faithful should themselves pick up the consecrated bread and the sacred chalice, still less that they should hand them from one to another.
There are, of course, various roles that women can perform in the liturgical assembly: these include reading the Word of God and proclaiming the intentions of the Prayer of the Faithful. Women are not, however, permitted to act as altar servers.
This instruction, prepared by the Sacred Congregation for the Sacraments and Divine Worship, was approved on April 17,1980, by the Holy Father, John Paul II, who confirmed it with his own authority and ordered it to be published and to be observed by all concerned.
And Pope Francis flaunts doctrine by washing women's feet on Holy Thursday and violating Pope Benedict's Summorum Pontificum in his unjust punishment of the Franciscans of the Immaculate.
Francis' motto should be," Rules are made to be broken".
And speaking of the Bible never changes, how did we end up with a New American Bible? What happened to the old, non-American Bible?
We will definitely need divine intervention to get us out of the post-Vatican II mess. I wonder whether I’ll see it in my lifetime though.
