Used the last Rev 19:10 on a friend who has been a Christian for 30 years but wondered why I but put no stock in the prophecy side of things and really doesn’t believe Jesus is coming back.
Like a lot of people she thought it was scary. God tells us it is a comfort - I said I only think it is too scary if your grip on the world and this life is a bit too tight! Didn’t go down like a lead balloon like I thought it would - she is a very teachable person if pointed in the right direction. I expect she will be telling me a few things about it soon enough LOL!
It is if we get this through our thick bonces.... "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." (1 John 5:13)
