There are literally hundreds of sects in the world, each with its own bizarre "holy writings" (e.g., the Koran, the Book of Mormon, the Tibetan Book of the Dead), about which you could make the same claim.
The fact that a "book" has followers does not in any way confirm the truth of that "book."

How many witnesses were around for the writing of the BOM? The Qur’an? The visions associated? A whopping one witness. How many witnessed Christ’s miracles? Thousands.

What you wrote in response to my abbreviated statement of faith sounds like me in my twenties and early thirties. I know where you're coming from and that you believe the veracity of your response trumps the foolishness of my statement, resulting in your statements being...truer.
I intended my post to appear in the FR Religion section, which for Free Republic, generally means Christian.
