I think the Papal address should begin with his redistributionist violation of the Tenth Commandment, which naturally leads to violations of the Ninth and which quickly breaks down the Eighth.

Then he can tell us all how happy he is to be here.

This would be interesting if it happens.

Oh, that he could give them a tongue-lashing like Mother Teresa of Calcutta did to a state legislature. Was it in Kansas?

I hope he turns Boehner down. The last place in the world where the Holy Father needs to be is Washington, DC.

After all, from where in the world have more abortions been financed? From where in the world has sodomy been more strongly pushed?

He can pronounce an anathema just as easily from the Vatican as from DC. And that’s the ONLY thing the Congress (and the Executive) (and the SCOTUS) needs to hear from him.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if he accepted and then called out all the baby killers and especially all the “so called” Catholics like Pelosi, etal.

It was a joke.

I sometimes think we don’t need the obligatory “/s” tag....

If he would stand in front of Congress and excommunicate Nancy Pelosi for her many years of undivided service to Satan, I’d cheer. But most likely, it would be a mish-mash of why capitalism is evil, and how our government needs to unite with other governments to serve the poor without borders...

Pelosi would have to promise not to support abortion or be an Obama stooge any more.

I’d like him to denounce abortion, and euthanasia, and call for a return to family values.

Unfortunately, since he is from Argentina,
I’m afraid he will focus on criticizing the rich (read: the USA); denounce global warming and our—especially America’s—responsibility for it; and list other reasons why America should feel guilt for global poverty, war, famine, etc.

The US is a good whipping boy, especially in the view of anyone from Latin America. And he won’t lose any brownie points in this world for damning the US with faint praise.

The Vatican and DC have some things in common..

Their obelisks and the pregnant dome buildings that are symbols of ancient sun worship are certainly interesting..

And sun worship is just another way to say satanic/occutic worship

But I read Revelation much differently than Christianity does...
