I think the Protestant-Catholic violence that arose at the end of the Middle Ages came about because Islam had receded from being a threat to Western Europe, and a Cold War line of demarcation had been established.

Now that Islam is back on the march, I think Protestants and Catholics need to lay aside their anomosity towards each other and remember we have a common enemy. If someone accepts Christ as his Savior, whether Catholic or Protestant, they'll get salvation.

If only Obama would stand up for Truth! Ugh. I think that we can all agree on him, at least, haha.

Protestant-Catholic violence is a political act and political acts are driven by money/power. Christians shouldn’t kill other Christians.
