The Catholic Church is the Mystical Body of Christ.
If you mean the UNIVERSAL or "according to the whole" church (what the word catholic originally meant when it was first used by Ignatius of Antioch early in the second century A.D.), then I think we would agree. It is the spiritual house of which we, as living stones, are being built up into. (I Peter 2:5) That is why it is a mystery that we are one body with Christ as the head through all time, all nations, all places, with faith in Him as what binds us together in unity. Praise be to God!
And the Arc of the Covenant was a shadow of the Tabernacle, found in every Catholic church.
