True Islamists regard “moderates” as apostate, as worthy of death as we Infidels.
I’ve actually been to Indonesia more than once and have seen what moderate Muslims are like in the big cities of Jakarta, Bali and Bandung.
They don’t mind for instance, christian Churches located not far from mosques and more surprisingly, I don’t see Muslim CONVERTS to Christianity persecuted in these cities.
In fact in Jakarta and Bandung, I see churches thriving and many Buddhist temples as well.
Also, their Muslim women wear SKIRTS ( I see their legs exposed ). The government itself is very moderate and does not make Islam its national religion.
Nevertheless, there ARE Extremists in that country where Christians are persecuted. Banda Aceh is the provincial capital and largest city in the province of Aceh, Indonesia comes to mind.
