Have heard people say, oh South Florida? I don’t like hurricanes.

We know DAYS in advance of a hurricane. And if you cover EVERY opening in your home you’ll be fine.

After Andrew, I went down to help friends. All houses were destroyed except this one..... It had nice expensive, fancy looking shutters on EVERY opening. All it lost were a few shingles.

All the other houses lost roofs, all windows, ceilings etc. We spent all weekend just shoveling out fallen drywall, shoveling it out window openings onto plywood then pulling it down to the curb. There were MOUNTAINS of debris lining all roads. Nat’l guard at each intersection. No light or sound except the occasional gun shot. And in september, the humidity is 100%, they were powerless for 2 MONTHS.

It was like a war zone.

At the time of the Northridge earthquake most of the porn industry was centered in Northridge.

Now porn production is more scattered, with many pervs filming outside of California altogether. There is a lot of filming in Florida, Colorado, and Ohio.

I wrote a song about this ridiculous city (L.A.) called “The New Swami”... sort a Beatlesque type song.. it was produced by the way, by David Hentschel, who produced 5 albums for Genesis and also albums for Elton John, and George Harrison..

if interested see it here :

If not, that’s cool, I know we all get bombarded with links every freaking day, and spam, etc.

carry on people.

Only G-d knows and speculation that a certain particular situation is/will be/ought to be a situation that is/will/ought to reflect some action by G-d IS MERE, AND GODLESS, SPECULATION

Believers know NOT to pretend to know just what G-d is or is not doing in some instance. Believers know to leave it in G-d’s hands.

Of the many different natural disasters that exist, nothing is more terrifying and devastating as the awesome power of an earthquake.

Baloney. I would rather experience a 7.2 earthquake than just about any tornado. Most of the buildings in Southern California will survive an 8.0 or larger. On Mythbusters they tried to destroy a wood frame house with a simulated earthquake and it survived up to a 12.0 which is 200 times worse than a 10.0. A tornado can destroy the same house and everything in it in a matter of seconds.

my poor Mom's nerves are rattled, not so much because of the quakes but the dogs won’t calm down.

I heard dogs barking last night after the big jolt, but my calico cat has been totally unperturbed.

You ignorant fisherman...

All these recent quakes in the past 2 days centered in the Orange County area, not Los Angeles. OC is pretty much conservative...

Gezzzz

I agree with you.

The quake last week, was further north, but the quake recently in OC was in a pretty conservative area.

Those who live in the Los Angeles area in particular have always been mindful and anticipating the "Big One" and this week this REALITY has been experienced is a series of big earthquakes which have caused its millions of inhabitants to consider this REALITY

Who writes this tripe?

I've lived in California 90% of my longish life, and no native Californian would call any of this series "large ones." It is to laugh.

California Earthquakes

Look for 5.6 or greater in a heavily populated area, or 6.0 or higher, anywhere.

Servers can’t be moved or replaced?

After the fact?
Not easily.

The Central Valley in California had its last significant earthquake, where Jim Robinson lives in 1932 or thereabouts.
The servers are either in Silicon Valley or across the Bay from Silicon Valley.

Both in earthquake alley.

” .... demonic global oppression, and demonic dominance unparalleled .... “

Seems a lot of that going on already.

I don’t believe I was predicting the end of the world with my post. And I believe my post to be true. We are living in a day when evil is called good and good is called evil.

Isaiah 5:20 - Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

my point is NOT about the cultural/social atmosphere

but, about the specific import of it at this moment

at the place and time given in the context of the article

in that regardless of the cultural/social atmosphere, the specifics as they relate to G-d IN THIS MOMENT are known
ONLY by G-d

and we ARE told not to follow those speculating that THEY KNOW those things, definitively for this moment; they don’t.

I would not know what to do in case of a earthquake.

Get outdoors, away from structures, sit down and watch the fun. Indoors: reinforced areas, like doorways, are much better than the "middle of the room".

Piece of cake.

Tornadoes: don't go to the overpass. Darwin will get you.
