If someone says Jesus is in America today it must be a fake. We will meet Jesus in the air.
If Jesus were to show up in America today he would not be welcome in churches because his message is too much of a downer. No self affirmation. No prosperity. No creativity.
We do not need to image. .look how he was accepted ( or not accepted) the first time in a land that believed he was coming and looking for him?

If he came today...he would do the same thing he did 2000 years ago. Of course there would have been no Christianity, there may have been a would wide religion, perhaps and probably Judaism or Roman Hellenistic. His miracles would have been dispersed by the internet and television. There is no telling though how an America based on Roman or Judaism social structure would look like.
I suspect it’d be a lot like the first time. Human nature really hasn’t changed that much in two thousand years.
