These saints were beatified by Pope John Paul II. I don’t think they are necessarily being fast tracked. Pope Benedict, I believe, had a hand in this too.

They were fast-tracked by Francis naming them saints without the second miracle being required, like he did with John XXIII. There’s no reason for him to have done that. They should have met the same requirements as saints normally do.

What he’s doing is not normal.

I’m amused at the idea that saints three hundred years and more dead can be referred to as “fast-tracked”.
