Doesn't look like it (after reading up to post 142). These are times when I just say to myself "a reasonable lurker in search of the truth can see, I'm sure". There are times like this that are present often on FR. Its either trust the reasonableness of the lurker, or obsess about getting the precious last word, like some schoolyard punk.

It's not that burdensome to ask the Church for either a dispensation or a convalidation, either of which, paperwork wise would take less than 5 minutes. And with the dispensation the non Catholic doesn't have to set foot in a Cathokic church. Hardly a burden on him (or her). This way there is no sin.

Sheesh I'm sorry I asked the question. I didn't realize it'd be used as an excuse to go into tirades about the Catholic Church.
