Cambridge, Mass., May 9, 2014 / 12:10 pm (CNA/EWTN News).- A Harvard student group organizing a re-enactment of a satanic black mass on campus has dismissed Catholic critics, calling their views arrogant and their objections ignorant and intolerant.
“Satanists have a ritual that they perform for their own affirmative reasons,” the Harvard Extension Cultural Studies Club told CNA May 8, adding that these reasons “currently have absolutely nothing to do with Catholicism beyond the symbols themselves.”
“Offense is anachronistic and based on intolerance and ignorance about the practice (of) Satanism.”
The club has faced controversy since it announced its plans to host a re-enactment of a satanic black mass on campus May 12. It described the ceremony as an educational event that is part of a larger series exploring various cultural practices.
The group said objections that have been raised to event are “closed-minded,” arguing that it is “paranoia” to think the satanic rituals and practices are designed to degrade the Catholic faith.

Their ignorance of history and of ritual Satanism is quite astonishing. The whole ritual of the Black Mass is a negative assertion and blasphemy of the Catholic Mass. Where do they think the name came from? There is nothing positive about it. It is all designed to be a twisting and negating of the true Mass.
I really deplore the exposure of this. I dread the platform this publicity brings into the American home, via prime time TV news. Providing these lovers of evil the platform to establish what satanism is, and is not, is sickening.
I believe I prefer open, bloody, hand to hand combat rather than the drip, drip, drip of endless discussion and the intellectual crap consideration pundits get to bring to the camera and the wickedness the media gets to promote by even covering this.

Satan does not need to manifest as a physical body in order to inflict great harm. Both good and evil are forces of energy, like electricity. You can chose to draw from one life energy source over the other. Some are foolish enough and weak enough to worship the power of the dark side, the type who praise Charles Manson or defend Dr. Gosnell the abortionist. God gave us all a free will as sentient beings, higher than snails and bacteria. Chose evil at your own peril. Often, he who lives by the Devil, is eventually destroyed or absorbed by the Devil.

So these little dumbunnies want to use Catholic symbols in an offensive way and then expect no one to say anything? Aren’t these the same people who last week were offended by people eating tacos? There is no logic here to argue with. Instead what these people need is a huge, feet-off-the-ground atomic wedgie.
And Satan can be a person without having a physical body. I am not sure what Satanist believe about Satan, and honestly I don’t care to know. But messing with the occult opens them to demonic possession. That’s all I meant.
