Blessed Sacrament Procession in Cambridge MA
New Liturgical Movement ^ | May 13, 2014 | CHARLES COLE

Yesterday evening a Blessed Sacrament procession from the Catholic chapel at MIT was followed by a Holy Hour of Adoration and Benediction at St. Paul's, the home parish of the Harvard Catholic Student Association. The Holy Hour was scheduled in response to a planned 'black mass' to be held at the same time by a student organisation on the campus of Harvard University. The Holy Hour was attended by about 2,000 people, including Harvard president Drew Faust. Media reports seem to suggest that the 'black mass' itself was called off after an overwhelming response from Catholics worldwide. More photographs at the Archdiocese of Boston's Facebook Page. Why wait for a satanic mass ... hold these processions more frequently and banish them for good.

....Or better yet, have regular adoration.

I agree with your sentiments. Have weekly adoration and a procession with prayers and singing. It is time for Catholic believers to profess their faith publicly and without reservation. We need to hold our Lord and Savior in the highest regard. Jesus said to ‘take up your cross and follow me’.

I usually only feel this way at Christmas or Easter. I’m thrilled and choked up seeing the passionate sincerity of this procession. Wish I could have been there.

Harvard Eucharistic Holy Hour

An estimated 2,000 people attend a Holy Hour at St. Paul Church in Harvard Square May 12. The Holy Hour was held at the same time as a demonstration of a satanic ‘black mass’ was scheduled to be held in a pub on the Harvard campus. The student group sponsoring the ‘black mass’ cancelled the event shortly before it was to start. Pilot photos by Gregory L. Tracy
