Evangelicalism’s decline was well underway in the 1970’s, when “no-fault liability insurance salvation” made huge headway. I subsequently spoke with many church-going young people who assured me that fornication was perfectly acceptable and wouldn’t affect your salvation, “because they had made the decision.” Additionally, drunkenness, divorce and accompanying adultery, perverted views of God, and all other manner of decidedly unChristian behavior began to be seen as minor infractions against their no-fault policy.
How is adding homosexuality to this smorgasbord of perversion going to alter this much more?
