You are wrong. My salvation is NOT based on what the Roman Catholic Church did or did not do. My salvation is based on what Jesus Christ did. Do you think that our Lord God is so dependent on the RCC, that if not for the RCC, we would all still be pagan? HOW ARROGANT of you!
The world is indeed grateful to those Catholic monks who kept the scriptures safe and recopied them and spread them. Perhaps if the RCC had remained as it began instead of lusting after riches and power, then we might all have remained with them. But alas, their greed and lust led them to begin adding to what Christ taught, ideas and concepts that just are not Biblical.

Baloney! I keep getting the impressing that Catholics are a cult. It’s my way or the highway. No where in the Bible does it say people have to belong to that cult to be saved. Try reading John 3:16.

We know what we know about Jesus through the OT. It contained enough prophecy for anyone to be able to recognize Him when He came.
The Catholic church is NOT responsible for the entire OT, and it is not responsible for writing the NT. The Holy Spirit inspired Scripture.
Any person can learn all they need to know about Jesus and be saved without one iota of help or influence from the Roman church.
