I don't think any of all that bad stuff spoken of can fairly apply to Mr. Ratzinger. And the gold...? That's likely old stuff from past centuries. If there be any much evil attached to it (how it was mined, obtained, who gave it for what reasons, etc., etc.,) fault along those lines can scarcely be laid at his own feet.
He's not a bad guy, all things considered. I think he's basically honest -- and far from guilty of what those particular scriptures speak of.
He did what he could as shepherd, in the settings he was in. Let God forgive if there be anything he would need to be forgiven for.
He's a man of prayer nowadays. Cut the guy some slack maybe?

It is appropriate. All Popes are usurpers grabbing political power and prestige, and using the name of Jesus Christ as a tool for the propagation of more and more error.
I posted appropriately for the purpose quoted in Scripture. The individual personality is not important, and that is the problem with the RC cult. It is all about personality first, not Christ first. The cult even elevates a humble woman, Mary, to co-redemptress status and claims of perpetual virginity. Christ is the ONLY Redeemer! That last one is pretty hard for a woman raising a whole family of Jesus' human brothers and sisters (doubtless sired by her husband, Joseph)!
