For those of us who aren’t obsessed with money it won’t be much of a challenge, but the suburbs and white collar work, the corporate offices are filled with the weak and those desperate to never rock the boat, to get along to get ahead, they will have a difficult time, but most of them just roll over and adapt to the new rules of the work place they choose to remain in.

Great post. But I believe we will have war on our soil before it gets worse for perscution in this country. We will be worried about survival for us who are unlucky to survive.

Any president who thinks he can boycott a nuclear nation like it is a little country in the Middle East like Russia is wrong. The Russians will believe it is an act of war soon. They will believe they are up against the wall. I believe they know our codes on war ships. I Have been reading how a Russian and Chinese have out maneuvered our ships. Also that Russia sub surfacing next to our ship without our knowledge is very upsetting. I do not believe it is a fluke. It is like the reverse of USA knowing Japanese codes during World War Two. I read about last year.

We have a naive administration. I believe there is judgment against this nation already in the works. I hardly have dreams only a rare few in a year but when I do they are significant. In May I had two dreams. The last one was men in a conference room talking about "it is done ... Over." Like too late it seemed. Then one man stood up who then said then " I am leaving." He did not see the reason for staying if over. He was walking out so I agreed with him in this dream then followed . We walked out of what seemed to be a bunker structure in a mountain area. We walked into daylight to our cars.. I stopped ... he stopped . He was like were can we go anyway. We hear a rumble sound in the distance. We look there is smoke cloud just past the next two mountains. The smoke cloud slowly but surely forming the classic mushroom look with far off distant sounds. It was then that sirens went on with that familiar sound. I then woke up in the morning. I hope this is not true. The mountain area looked like the Virginia mountains. I have driven through them several of times going to Georgia.

I read this book.

BTW, this book was written in 1881; you wouldn't believe how accurate it is!

Reading this book was one of the greatest graces of my life!"
— St. Thérèse of Lisieux

In the late nineteenth century, Father Charles Arminjon, a priest from the mountains of southeastern France, assembled his flock in the town cathedral to preach a series of conferences to help them turn their thoughts away from this life’s mean material affairs—and toward the next life’s glorious spiritual reward. His wise and uncompromising words deepened in them the spirit of recollection that all Christians must have: the abiding conviction that heavenly aims, not temporal enthusiasms, must guide everything we think, say, and do.

When Father Arminjon’s conferences were later published in a book, many others were able to reap the same benefit—including fourteen-year-old Thérèse Martin, then on the cusp of entering the Carmelite convent in Lisieux. Reading it, she says, “plunged my soul into a happiness not of this earth.” Young Thérèse, filled with a sense of “what God reserves for those who love him, and seeing that the eternal rewards had no proportion to the light sacrifices of life,” copied out numerous passages and memorized them, “repeating unceasingly the words of love burning in my heart.”

Now the very book that so inspired the Little Flower is available for the first time in English.

Let the pages of The End of the Present World and the Mysteries of the Future Life fill you with the same burning words of love, with the same ardent desire to know God above all created things, that St. Thérèse gained from them. Let them also enrich your understanding of certain teachings of the Faith that can often seem so mysterious, even frightening:

  • The signs that will precede the world’s end
  • The coming of the Antichrist, and how to recognize him
  • The Judgment and where it may send us: heaven, hell, and purgatory
  • Biblical end-times prophecy: how to read it and not be deceived

Jesus commands us to be ever-watchful for his return, and ever-mindful that we have no lasting city on earth. The End of the Present World and the Mysteries of the Future Life is an invaluable aid to inculcating in your spirit that heavenly orientation, without which true human happiness cannot be found—in this world or the next.

If you want to rule the world, secular humanism, the kind that america represents, is the ultimate weapon of mass destruction...

Maybe the freedom and liberty that america spreads is different than the freedom and liberty the Savior of the world provides...

Maybe this is why people feel persecuted... maybe Our Heavenly Father has used His enemies and continues to, like He did when Israel went a whorring....

More likely it will be a revolt in this country and not any invasion from another country.

I’ve been a non conformist my whole life. I will stick with God’s word, even if it means death. I will not risk my gift of salvation by turning away from it, or accepting some mark. I know many here will do the same.
