Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Oh LORD, Our God,
How Excellent is Your Name over all the Earth!
How Wonderful You Are,
How Magnificent,
and How Glorious!
Magnified and Sanctified is Your Most Holy Name,
And from Generation to Generation,
Shall all People Call You Great and Wonderful!
For You Alone Are Worthy, You Alone Are LORD,
You Alone Are The One True God Of Abraham!
The Heavens Declare your Glory,
And We Look To You As Our Only Source of Light and Life!

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Although, I do not recommend the practice of randomly opening the Bible for guidance, I was so desperate for a Word from God on the evening of 9/11/01 that I did just that...and this is where the Lord sent me. Now, a dozen years later, Our Study of "Water in the Bible" brings us back to this Passage in a new context.

The "Waters of Affliction" indicates the meager diet of those in poverty and desperation, bread and water. No luxuries, just the barest essentials for survival in a miserable existence.

Contrast appears in the next Passage, with the streams of Water gushing forth from every high hill.

Twelve years ago, when I read that passage, on "The day of the Great Slaughter, when the Towers Fell", I interpreted that as copious tears of repentance.

Of Course, Scripture must be interpreted in harmony with other Scripture, and "Private Interpretation" is dangerous. However, I was comforted greatly by this Passage at a time when I needed it most.

In the days following 9/11/01, there was indeed a great outpouring. Flags flew everywhere, people lined up to give blood, and for a brief time, America was united.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
