Thank you, but I can’t take credit for it. I found a very, very informative article on the identity of Allah, & this line jumped out at me:
“According to the Encyclopedia of Religion, Allah corresponded to the Babylonian god Baal, and Arabs knew of him long before Mohammed worshipped him as the supreme God.”
Of course, other false gods were associated with the name too. The name ‘Allah’ comes with some very dark, demonic associations:
