True, but for this embarrassing vignette I blame Reed more than Maher. You can't really blame a toad for acting like a toad, but you can blame a Christian for acting like an idiot. We are called to be "wise as serpents and harmless as doves." Reed fails on both counts by not understanding the nature of the interaction with Maher.
