The accepted wisdom is that your church has no business telling the clergy that have to be celibate when that is clearly not what God has proclaimed. Accepted by whom? Seriously, anyone that doesn't like the rules can start their own church, and many have. Whining about what any group does that you're not a member is kind of a waste of breath.

Do new/foreign ideas frighten you? Is it painful to re-examine what you have been taught to see if it squares with The Word of God? If there were a difference in what the Bible taught and what Church Tradition teaches which way would you lean?
