The new moon day is tomorrow and will be the first day of His third month

How do you write that on checks?

(That's just it, Verga! When you live in the realm of pure spiritual abstractions, as some, you don't even have a checkbook! You don't have a modern-day calendar! You don't a digital cell-phone calendar! You don't call up your friend or relative and say, "Hey, we're arriving on Thursday" -- because, by god, who would dare honor the pagan god "Thor" and his "day" by actually referencing "Thor's day" out loud?)

I only write one check a month and I render to Caesar what belongs to Caesar (or to what belongs to the pope’s world) ... but if I could get away with not putting the secular humanist date on it, and be assured by a secular humanist bank that it would not invalidate the instrument, I would certainly do that. And I have been told the date is needed because after a certain amount of time, the instrument is invalid...

But it is easier to write that check than it is to find a business open on the pope’s holy day of december 25.. that is certainly a tough day to buy or sell.

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
