Instead of fighting over what was or wasn't said, let's instead ask this simple question:
Will the Pope now be going to Mecca to offer Christian prayers?
If the answer to that is yes, then all is well. If the answer to that is no, then the Pope has been duped, very badly duped.

No, it’s not about fairness (and who in their right mind would want to go to Mecca?). The real question is: Does the Pope actually believe Jesus when He claimed: “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to The Father but by me”?

I am not sure what you people want him to do? Should he start up a new crusade? He has not the legions for it. Should he ignore the plight of the Christians stuck in these muslim hell holes? What should be do? It's easy to sit and criticize, what do you want him to do?
Francis is not my favorite Pope by along shot, but I just don't get why people are gunning for him every time he does something.
