The chairman of the U.S. Bishops’ Committee on Migration has called upon the Obama administration to halt any plans to send back unaccompanied illegal immigrant minors who have been flooding across the U.S. border.
“This is a very vulnerable population which has been targeted by organized crime networks in Central America,” said Bishop Eusebio Elizondo in a press release Wednesday. “To return them to these criminal elements without a proper adjudication of their cases is unconscionable.”
The bishops have asked the Obama administration to reconsider their proposed request to Congress for “fast track” authority to expedite the removal of unaccompanied children coming to the United States from Central America. Currently, children from non-contiguous countries are permitted to remain in the United States until an immigration judge considers their request for asylum or immigration relief.
“As a nation which has traditionally offered safe haven to those who are persecuted, this proposed policy undercuts our values as a nation,” added Elizondo, who is also auxiliary bishop of Seattle...

As a Catholic, I can tell you that the majority of the US Bishops and Archbishops are a bunch of left wing wimps. To quote the late great Blessed Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen:
“WHO IS GOING TO SAVE OUR CHURCH? NOT OUR BISHOPS, NOT OUR PRIESTS AND RELIGIOUS. IT IS UP TO THE PEOPLE. YOU HAVE THE MINDS, THE EYES, THE EARS TO SAVE THE CHURCH. YOUR MISSION IS TO SEE THAT YOUR PRIESTS ACT LIKE PRIESTS, YOUR BISHOPS, LIKE BISHOPS, AND YOUR RELIGIOUS ACT LIKE RELIGIOUS.”
Which has nothing to do with violating law or theft.
And everything to do with the Great Commandment:
Love God, and Love your neighbor as yourself.

OK; how many are you willing to take in? What about the diseases and the lice? How many can our country afford? Can’t you see this was orchestrated by Obama to bring down our country?
Those who are called to minister should do it in the country of origin, not bring unaccompanied children here. They belong with their parents.

Bring in loads of uneducated kids who are nominally Catholic, and use them to influence the culture to the way they want.
Of course, it will back fire.
One hears that there are bishops who are Catholics. But one almost never hears a peep out of them. All the bigmouths are lefty traitors who love nothing more than snuggling up to pro-aborts. Gomez is one of those. I’d bet anything that there are many, many photos of Elizondo cheek-by-jowl with pro-aborts at various public events.
Who appointed these lefty non-Catholic traitors? The last several Popes.

Then house them in the Bishop`s personal quarters, no wait, then they`d be molested, never mind.
what is the difference between a pedophile priest offering a child a candy bar to come into his chamber -
and Obama offering a child free education, health care and a wad of money to come into this nation.
the poor child is going to get violated and abused in either case.
