Based on WHAT?! Here we have the official prayer of the Catholic Church confirming that we do not merit Heaven and nevertheless there's still fault found with it.
Maybe I’m nitpicking, it’s just that I’ve been listening to Paul a lot lately and he is so full of confidence in what believers have in Christ. Prayers like that, while acknowledging need of grace, have a bit of false humility to me, vis a vis the abbondanza of blessing and ASSURANCE Paul teaches.
