Please tell me how the words of John 3:16 KJV, “shall not perish and have everlasting life,” would not apply to Mary.

If she’s dead, Jesus isn’t who any of us claim he is.

The most important point is why would anyone choose to NOT speak to the Lord and to speak to mere creatures instead? And when it comes to Mary, it is not as if she’s treated as just another Christian brother or sister who were asking to pray for us. In ADDITION, Catholics give her many of God’s attributes. Catholic priests declare her sinless, so then Catholics come and “stand before her sinful and sorrowful,” they come to HER for mercy, and “flee to HER for protection.” And those are but a few examples. Why would some of God’s creatures stand “sinful and sorrowful” before another CREATURE?? I’m sure Catholics concede she is a creature so what is the answer for that?

Of course I meant that she has passed from this earth, but I wouldn’t pray to her even if she hadn’t.

I don’t believe in praying to anyone, other than God our Father, through Christ the Son, our Saviour.
