Having lived as a lesbian and having had some "gender confusion" as a child, I have believed that such feelings are to an extent fostered by parents or caregivers. I have been reaching out as a Christian to a woman trying to become a man, who has become with a man trying to become a woman, and not surprisingly to me the man, in his late 30's, has a very controlling and demanding mother, and the woman's mother has similarly attempted to control her daughter in the past.

She is a child abuser if she allows or encourages him to think he is a girl and she is insane if she thinks others should accept that and treat him as if he was a girl.

Hey, I tell my kids that maybe being a little confused is normal. Your body gets so pumped fill of chemicals and hormones that you’re going to have strange thoughts.
I also told them that it would be child abuse for me to allow them to follow up on these strange feelings. It is a parents duty to raise healthy children, to guide them thru the strange thoughts onto the right path. Not allow them to indulge their every strange desire.

I have been reading Philippians. Verse 4:8 says: 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

That video was none of those things.

With all due respect, the scriptures does not say these issues are "confusion" or the result of someone else's actions towards a person. They are a result of sin and a progression of sin in one's life. As a Christian you, and the rest of us, should rejoice that God has lead you from this life and helping to draw you closer through His Son, our Lord Jesus. But it's important that we call it what it is-SIN. For the only way that we can find healing and forgiveness is through confessing OUR sin.

No, if you read my comment, I am not going to bat for those who believe in transgenderism. I am a Bible-believing Christian, and the woman whom the Lord wants me to reach out to who is trying to become a man knows where I stand on it. She got very angry at me for referring to her as she, but I will not ever call her a “he.”

I believe, though, that you can’t engage in a public debate if you’re not even listening to it. The things in liberal media are what all liberals, Democrats, atheists and Obama are actually thinking, but exactly. You also don’t have to read or watch what I post, which I will identify in the title as coming from a liberal source or viewpoint.

I agree. I have confessed my sins, including homosexual acts and thoughts. Nobody else did them. But as Christians we know that parents influence children, and as such it seems that, for instance, that the cases profiled in the media of boys wanting to become girls (and started to receive hormones as children) the mothers have been seriously invested in it after proclaiming their initial opposition.

This mother asserts — sincerely, I believe — that gender confusion in children has nothing to do with sex. Assuming this is true, why do these parents allow themselves and their children's stories to be co-opted by the gay rights people? There probably are some children whose sex differentiation in utero was screwed up and who have real physiological problems that cause gender confusion. While I cannot imagine lopping off genitals is the solution, I don't claim there isn't a real problem.

Parents of children with gender identity problems should STAY AWAY from gay rights groups. Such groups want to use these poor children and their hapless parents to advance their own political agendas.

I noted it was “pro-trans” to warn people of that. As I wrote in my comment, as a young girl I experienced some “gender confusion” and that was in that I “played pretend” usually as a man, and later as a teen seemed to naturally wear more masculine clothes such as T-shirts. But by the grace of God I began to embrace being a woman, and to see even young children today embracing becoming what they’re not and people like Barbara Walters uncritically promoting it sickens me. The woman I know who wants to become a man is a mess in so many ways, but I hope and pray she is attracted to the peace in my life. She hasn’t turned away from me although she knows I don’t approve, and says I’m a true friend to her.

I’ve only recently posted some things from liberal points of view, which I identify as such. What this story is is the REALITY in our country and it’s getting worse ever faster. We most often post news on these issues, but once it’s news that fight is usually over. To post what liberals say is to know what they’re thinking and planning, and this is a site for considering what to do politically. These sites, as I mentioned to someone else, tell us in detail what atheists, liberals, Democrats, etc., are thinking and indicate what they want to do next and the arguments they’ll use, which is something news reports gloss over or put a nice face on.

I am pretty sure this is the nastiest video I have seen on FR. The whole gay thing has cost lives and serious terminal illness to my close family members. Society in decline produces decadence, that is all there is to say.
