1. She's a mom who takes stereotypes and kicks 'em to the curb.

2. The story she tells is R-E-A-L, REAL. No apologies. She's serving up realness, people.

I am pretty sure this is the nastiest video I have seen on FR. The whole gay thing has cost lives and serious terminal illness to my close family members. Society in decline produces decadence, that is all there is to say.

Since homosexuality or bisexuality is a choice, it's a double hurt to family and friends.

We really aren't any worse (or better) than we were 10,000 years ago. The human race reached the one billion mark in 1800 and now, in 2014 we are six billion and counting.

The percentage of fools, aholes, jerks and morons is still the same as it was 50,000 years ago. However, with so many MORE humans on the planet the idiocy IS much bigger simply because of numbers.

It seems the traditional (barf alert) would work for something as disgusting as this video. Your use of (pro-trans) in the title can mean anything or nothing. A good old fashioned (barf alert) would make it unambiguously clear, this isn’t really about a So. Baptist mom with good comebacks. This is a shame filled woman who has abandoned her child to reprehensible parenting. Her sin is ever before her, but she has decided to come up with some “fabulous” responses in an attempt to allay her guilt.

If I had any idea that was the subject of this video, I would never have bothered to watch. You can see sin and sinners worshipped all over the media. There are even more people out there trying to make excuses for them. No one needs to tell me what the godless atheists, liberals and democrats think. There is nothing new under the sun. People have been trying to get away with sin since the Garden of Eden.

Next time a clear barf alert would be appreciated.

Well stated. Fortunately I only wasted about 30 seconds of my life watching this bilge. I have no desire to either "understand" or "join in the dialogue" on this subject. Pass.....

While you and I will probably never agree about Catholicism I applaud the missionary work you have undertaken and pray for your continued courage and any success.

I also agree that it’s important to remain informed (via sources such as you posted) about what the “other side” is up to. How they think. What are their common arguments. I think sometimes we can become too complacent in our FR bubble, and also overly confindent in the strength of our arguments because of the protections we enjoy here. It’s good to remain challenged if only to keep the mind sharp for the eventual conflict in the real world.

With all that said, I have read your post #1 multiple times and I really don’t understand what you were saying there. Please repost.

Well, point duly noted, and I apologize if you watched something you didn’t want to. If I post from an antichristian source, I try to put that in parantheses (and use scare quotes), but I was unfamiliar with Upworthy and thought others would be, too. So I tried “(pro-transgender),” but with the length of the title, the FR program wouldn’t accept it. It also just happened to be that the blog post or whatever introducing the video doesn’t say much about it, and I also have never or just rarely posted video here (I believe I posted one Christian testimony). In the future if I do post another video and it should be antichristian, I’ll make sure to look for a source where the content is talked about, re-title it, or something if the source or viewpoint can’t be clearly posted in the title.

I agree you may be right about our disagreements on Catholicism, but thank you for the encouragement. It’s appreciated.

On my first post, I can’t look at it and post at the same time from my particular phone, but I was first talking of “gender confusion” I had as a small child up to my teenage years. I had always pretended as a child when taking on roles that I was male. Then in my teen years I basically usually wore jeans and a T-shirt. Then later in my post, I talked about a woman who is taking male hormones who I’ve been reaching out to as a Christian. She has recently been dating a man taking female hormones, and she mentioned to me how this man’s mother dominates his life to the point of keeping track of him and greatly exaggerating her health problems to get her to do things for him. And then I noted that in the probably at least six cases I’ve ever looked deeply into (in newspapers or on TV) of young “transgendered” boys, their mother have all expressed a short time of being against the idea, Cont’d

I remember with one family profiled on Dateline, the young boy started to question whether he wanted to go through with “transitioning” and the mother actually expressed a lot of disappointment, and the boy then went back to wanting the “transition.” I couldn’t believe that that part of the story was merely reported without any questions being raised on what was going on with the boy’s doubts and the mother’s deep disappointment over them.
