It draws too much focus onto the worshippers rather than He who is being worshipped. It epitomizes my beef with the entire Novus Ordo.

Quite frankly, I don't care to even notice who else is in the Church. Every bit of concentration adn focus should be on God alone. Community and fellowship and such can come before mass and after mass, but for the mass itself, the focus MUST be God alone.
