I’d volunteer to be on that plane if they asked me. I would not however want my Pope on that plane. I don’t see that he has told the Iraqi Christians to stay there. If there is a direct quote from a credible source I would like to see it. Plus, the Pope is a lot more than just a human being. As shown with St. JP, he’s a target.
