To: ebb tide

Help me out here. If David Grey believes (as do I) that Pope Francis is supportive of so many actions and activities that can only be labeled as “indifferentism”; and if indifferentism is, in fact a heresy, what doesn’t that make Pope Francis a heretic?

I’ve re-read the article but still can’t seem to grasp Grey’s reasoning why he does not believe so. I seem to be missing some part of the thread.

It’s a thin line between a formal heretic and a material heretic.

Pope Francis appears to be testing that line.
