I agree with you that protestant v catholic and all the un essential stuff makes me ill.
My beef with BG and the Duggers is rooted in the innocent children damaged and forced into these systems of belief. BG and the Duggers should not be celebrated or emulated. The truth must be known. The Duggers consider the television show to be ministry. Outreach. I will oppose them to keep any more kids from being abused by the BG system.
So that is my “why”.
Serious question here...do you really think the Duggar kids are being abused? I find it odd that they aren’t allowed to socialize without chaperones and such or work or attend college (other than online college) but they really seem to be a well grounded Christian family. They seem way more normal or adjusted than other reality show families.
