Sub-zero temperatures play hell with engines and electronics.

Look up “ICBM” on the Google.

Which is why the streets are deserted in Moscow in the dead of Winter. Oh, wait . . . .

NATO? Are you joking?

NATO is two armies - Germany and the US. Germany’s interests align perfectly with Putin, and the Americans are busy with transgender integration.

How do you fantasize about a drive to Moscow unfolding?

“I guarantee our tanks would not get stuck in Mud! “

We would get them there how?

Direct hits by h-bombs also interfere with engines and electronics. This is delusional that anyone could imagine a conventional NATO invasion towards Moscow that wouldn’t result in nukes going off in the capitols of the invading nations.

Who said ever?

Marching on Moscow in September is a fool’s errand. If it were June, you’d have a better chance.

But I think we both know anyone marching on Moscow will be incinerated right as they enter the city. Along with the rest of the western world.

“Not a fan of history are you?”

What part of it? Napoleon took Moscow. Hitler didn’t. Taking Moscow was never the issue. Holding it and still taking Siberia would be.

You would have a difficult time selling that attack in Peoria.

Simple. We build a time portal to 1985 and use the military we had back then.

“If Ukraine was smart, it would issue rifles to every citizen, and begin training all of them how to use them. Russia could invade, and occupy, but they would know that they would be picked off in appalling numbers as time went on.”

Exactly. They are kicking around that idea too.

More to the point, this very discussion is the root of everything we are seeing unfold. The Russians have been catastrophically invaded from euros many times.
They are deeply suspicious already from this background. So NATO expands west right up to their border.
Then we see discussion on how best to invade and capture Moscow.

This confirms for them everything they fear and is reason numero uno they insist on a buffer zone between they and nato.

This is why nuclear proliferation will never work again. The US has shown time and time again that it will not invade “rogue” states with a nuclear capability. The Russians are the same way. Since, the Ukrainians stupidly gave up their nukes for a security promise that is not worth the paper it is written on, the Russians have no worries about invading them.

If Russia ever forces NATO to take it to Moscow, then it will be done.

The only strength that Russia has, is that it is one of the European nuclear powers, but that would be their suicide.

Russia will submit to strength, now is no time to be surrendering to them and assisting them in becoming the powerful USSR again.

NATO should tell Putin we will take Moscow in two months....

Now, that is funny.

He wouldn’t be saying this, if he was convinced that the day he took Kiev, that Volgograd, Belgorod, and Rostov-on-Don would become rubble. Every President from Eisenhower to Bush 43, with the exception of Carter, could have said this privately and would have been believed, because the Russians understood that they may play chess, but Americans play poker, and we’re willing to push the stakes as high as they need to go to make the other guy fold. The present administration, not so much. Thank you, Neville Chamberlain.

Why, do you think history has written that Moscow can’t be taken, ever?

If Russia is the Biblical Gog or MaGog, then it is reserved till tribulation for destruction.
