Having that one sin taken away that saved David from death did not make him sin free.

Christ's body was not tangled to any imperfect man. This connects to scientific proof of Mary's perfection, too. It has been shown that groups of cells from infants transfer to mothers' brains [1, 2], after traveling through the placenta. Because of this, the Blessed Mother must have been perfect, for she literally had, in purity, the mind of Christ.

Well, if Mary had to be perfect for Christ to gestate in her, then her mother must has had to been perfect to have a perfect daughter herself, otherwise, Mary's mother's imperfect cells would have traveled through the placenta into Mary and contaminated her.

FWIW, ALL believers have the mind of Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:15-16 The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

MRO, you are way out in left field about this Mary stuff.

If you are correct, then David resides in Hell - the wages of sin is death and under the Old Covenant, any sin was a eternal death sentence.

Next on the agenda - how do you surmise that it was only one sin that was taken away? The quote is "“The Lord has taken away your sin. You are not going to die."

Like I said, there are other Scriptural references - if all you want to do is be right without actually doing any research, then your plan is good - infer wrongness without knowing the whole story. Might want to get back into the Bible for a bit.

Nope, David's sins were forgiven and removed from his account upon Jesus death and ressurection just as they are for all believers.

so you think that God would send His begotten son to reside in a less than perfect environment????Why??? He spent 33 years on earth. So in a word. Yes. Why not? Why don't you believe that He was tempted in every way just as we are and yet was without sin?

when God created Earth, it was pure and without sin....when God created Mary, she was pure and without sin. Because mankind soiled the Earth with sin, does not mean that God would not create another perfectly pure vessel to contain His begotten Son...

And besides, David repented in front of Nathan.

I know the resurrection is a fact, and Watergate proved it to me.

How?

Because 12 men testified they had seen Jesus raised from the dead, then they proclaimed that truth for 40 years, never once denying it. Every one was beaten, tortured, stoned and put in prison. They would not have endured that if it weren’t true.

Watergate embroiled 12 of the most powerful men in the world and they couldn’t keep a lie for three weeks. You’re telling me 12 apostles could keep a lie for 40 years?

Absolutely impossible.

You might just have a proof there that can not be disputed,

However If Jesus had of been counting on these 12 that Nixon was counting on we probably would never even heard of Jesus, lol.

Thank you for your reply...but since it is in the Bible, the unerring word of God, it has to be true..right?

Did you understand nothing of my reply? There are ways that two stories in ancient storytelling methods are really one story.
Why do you accuse me of claiming the Bible is untrue because of this? — Does the differing accounts of the gospels make them untrue? No, because the writers of the gospels would each have different things that stuck out in their minds about Jesus and his ministry, not to mention that they were also written for different groups.

By your reasoning, there's not one gospel (Jesus's work on Earth) but four, which indicate there were really four Jesuses. Ridiculous.

Yes I did understand, and didn’t mean to offend...in the original posting, I asked the poster what did he/she think, as I always like to see the thought process behind a post. And, in this case, the poster sent back a group biblical citations, as if they are on speed dial, that did not answer the question namely what did he/she think about the two stories about the creation of Eve. In your post, you explained your thought process and conclusions and I thank you for that.

However, I would take a bit of an issue with your last sentence re: my “...ridiculous reasoning..., I submit that the four gospels did tell different stories of the life of Jesus and I would never conclude there was more than one Jesus. Best to you..Barney

Sorry about that — I probably came off a lot harsher than I meant to.
