From the article:

A new documentary screening this month at Sundance sheds some light on Warren Jeffs and the Fundamentalist Latter-Day Saints community. The film “Prophet’s Prey” from Academy Award nominated director Amy Berg delves into the influence that Jeffs had and has over the fLDS faithful. The film includes audio recordings of Jeff’s instructions to his followers along with footage filmed at Alta Academy in Salt Lake City. The film has five more showings this month at Sundance.

My comment? As the fLDS are, the LDS once were. As the fLDS are now, the LDS may become

This "couplet" reveals:

(a) The fLDS, lifestyle-wise, are essentially "old-time" Mormons;
(b) And, given that the fLDS are openly still polygamous, so, too are the mainstream Mormon church when it comes to "eternal" marriage. You see, you can be married to more than one woman FOR ETERNITY in the Lds; the lone condition is that your previous wife has to be deceased -- waiting for you to join her beyond the veil.

Then when you die, however many wives you took "for eternity" in the LDS temple is how many "forever" wives you have!

(Also, LDS "apostle" Bruce McConkie claimed that the "holy practice" of polygamy would be reinstituted when the Mormon jesus returns to earth (his book Mormon Doctrine, a book which was republished for a while by the LDS church.

I believe Jesus said that there is no such thing as marriage in Heaven. This was in response to a group (Pharisees?) testing him about someone who married
a number of wives, one after the other, following the
decease of each one in turn.

They asked Him which one was the wife of the man being discussed.
