Author and apologist Tim Staples joins Fr. Mitch to talk about Marian devotion and defends Mary as Mother of God, the immaculate conception, her perpetual virginity and assumption into heaven.
How sad this is. Miriam was special, but she was a real girl. Not divinity.
You obviously didn’t watch the video, in which is it emphasized that Mary is not a divinity. You just belch out some of your anti-Catholic bigotry.
Since Catholics are not morons, and don’t believe that Mary is a divinity, your hateful words have no impact.
Just an attempt to inform, not you, Torahmane, necessarily, someone who would comment on something in effect for 2000 years that presently most of those informed on the subject believe, and the same for theose during that past 2000 years roughly 4 billion people have believed, written on, studied, prayed about, we’re told about, without making the first slightest effort to inform yourself on, much les do a cursory search of this highly credible writer, his credentials his education experience and even read the article, which is accept inlet for Catholic threads here on FR, but for those reading the thread, as it’s early in the thread and I might catch them

If not, know that you are commenting on the ideas of someone who can speak twelve languages, including Hebrew and who, with Me Staples, has done extensive travel and study through Jerusalem and beyond
He evaluated the video as “sad,” without having watched it. He asserted that Catholics believe Mary is a a divinity, which is a falsehood.
Thus, he was voicing pure prejudice, and I pointed that out.
Why do people think that telling Catholics not to believe something that Catholics don’t believe is so important?
