The disciples are merely agents delegated to exercise some of Jesus’ prerogatives, entirely consistent with His determined will. That never includes actions of which His approval is not already certified, as far as I can see it.**
Did Moses instruct the Levite priests to leave the spilled blood of the sacrifice alone, since, in your theological interpretation, that is when the remission is fulfilled? After the blood was shed, Moses sprinkled all the things of the tabernacle, AND all the people.
The apostles were only doing as they were commanded.
