There have been numerous versions of this story posted on FR, and the full story is not quite what Graham is pushing here. The bible verses were but one part of this Marine’s broader pattern of disobeying orders from her supervisor (with whom she was apparently engaged in a long-running personality clash).

No one is allowed to put anything on any computer monitor. This isn’t about the content, if she were allowed to do this, then the next guy over could put Alluah Akbar on his and they couldn’t tell him to take it down. The military is about conformity. She was given a lawful command based upon previously known to her regulations, she basically told her superiors to Eff off, and they rightly corrected her insubordination. She obviously didn’t belong in the Marines if she couldn’t follow a simple order. Whether she agreed with it or not.
Under the UCMJ she was found guilty of disobeying a lawful order four times, failing to go to an appointed place of duty, disrespecting a superior commissioned officer. No wonder she got the Big Chicken Dinner at Courts Martial. It was appealed and the appeals court found “Military orders are presumed to be lawful and are disobeyed at the subordinate’s peril,” as for the other two charges either you were where you were suppose to be or not and as for disrespecting a superior commissioned officer (A High Ranking Officer)that would probably be considered unchristian like.
She took a gamble and lost....

Our government is now fully secular and is openly hostile towards people of faith, specifically Christians. Meanwhile, the government is giving other groups of people special or super rights who will be immune to scrutiny. Islamists, gays, atheists are not only protected by this government but are using the government to attack Christians.
I predict, within a short period of time, life-ending atrocities towards Christians by our government and its allies while the media looks the other way.
Time to stand up and be counted.

Shouldn’t they also charge her with possession of coins and currency bearing the inscription “In God We Trust”?
If this is all there is to the story she fell on the wrong sword.
Instead of “disobeying” an order there are other avenues for her to pursue this, ones that are spelled out in regulation.
I have told my own disgruntled Soldiers it they don’t like what I am telling them, go to the IG and if that doesn’t work go to their congress critter. I even offered to proof read their complaints for them.
