On Aug. 11, 1927, Smith Wigglesworth stood in Angelus Temple to preach on preparing for the Second Coming of Christ. He told the audience that liquid fire was consuming him. Then Wigglesworth made this opening statement:
But there will be things that will happen prior to His coming that we shall know. You can tell. I am like one this morning that is moving with a liquid, holy, indispensable, real fire in my bosom, and I know it is burning and the body is not consumed. It is real fire from heaven that is making my utterances come to you to know that He is coming. He is on the way. God is going to help me tell you why you will know. You that have the breath of the Spirit, there is something now moving as I speak. As I speak, this breath of mighty, quickening, moving, changing, desirable power is making you know and it is this alone that is making you know that you will be ready.
1. There must be special preparation for the return of Christ and at least half of all believers will be totally unprepared. We have to see that these days have to come before the Lord can come. There has to be a falling away. I want to speak to you very exactly. All the people which are pressing into and getting ready for this glorious attained place where they shall not be found naked, where they shall be blameless, where they shall be immovable, where they shall be purified by the power of the Word of God, have within them a consciousness of the very presence of God within, changing their very nature and preparing them for a greater thing, and causing them to be ready for translation.

Those things that we are doing that we know for a fact that are against God's Word (which we need to be immersed in on a daily basis), we need to stop doing--reverse course, get back on track, and entreat Him every day in prayer.
We who have received Christ must not end up being the 50% of Christians in the world who are caught unaware when He returns, and His return is imminent.
Matthew 25: 1-13: "Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."
Our assignment, while on this earth, is to fulfill the Great Commission, which is the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; we cannot fulfill the Commission if we are following headlong with the ways of this wicked world. We must purify ourselves in heart and mind and ways, through the Word, so that we can be true witnesses to those who are on the wide road that leads to destruction.
Matthew 7:13-14: "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
Pray for the end times church to awake and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
I read most of his bulleted points. They are way too shallow in meaning to actually have meaning. Number three really stood out to me:
3. It will be common for preachers to deny the existence of hell. Denying hell prepares the way for antichrist. What? No hell. The devil has always said, “What does Christian Science say?” [Ray says, “We could insert other names here for the times we’re in right now.] No hell, no devil. They are ready for him. The devil has always said no hell, no evil. And these people are preparing, and they do not know it, for the Man of Sin.
What does he mean by that? My take is he means what the reader wants to think he means. Take me, for example. I do not deny the existence of hell, but many interpret my perspective to do just that. Yet the bible teaches that hell itself shall be consumed in the lake of fire, which is the second death.
Just as the churches aer “lampstands”, the second death is a “lake of fire”.
And to bring to conclusion my point, I believe that the fate of the lost is what it was described as in Genesis. They die. They are anihilated. The second death finishes off the part that is not mere flesh, once and for all.
