The death of King Herod was no earlier than 4 BCE. This is a well established historical fact.

Actually regarding Herod’s purported death in 4 BC, please see here, here, and here. The evidence is mounting that 4 BC was simply a copyist error by Josephus. Herod actually would have died in 1 BC. Even the Wikipedia article admits six different sources think he died in 1 BC.
