My daughter was in the Girl “Scouts” maybe 15 years ago. I have the word “Scouts” in quotes because it had zero to do with scouting. One meeting dealt with how to apply make up. Other meeting focused on lame arts & crafts. It was a small, sad group compared to the Boy Scouts.
These days, the single activity that defines them is the selling of cookies. Take that away and they are defunct.
